Jesse R. Freeman –Sports Development
Jesse was a three-sport standout in California and received baseball scholarships from numerous PAC-10 and Ivy League programs. He accepted a baseball scholarship to Oregon State University and later joined the football team as a walk-on. Following a debilitating knee injury during his junior year, Jesse re-focused his ambitions towards the military where he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and became a boarding team member on a Joint-Task force specialized law enforcement team involved in drug interdiction and anti-terrorism.
During his military service, Jesse was awarded numerous military medals and was a specialized anti-terrorism team member with four years of experience in performing mission critical and special operation assignments in US Coast Guard law and drug enforcement. While in the US Coast Guard, Jesse possessed two SECRET Security Clearances over a span of two duty stations. During his overseas operations which included Central and South America, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Russia, he was consistently recognized for superior performance, receiving numerous honors which include a Presidential Unit Citation, two Special Operations Service Medals (bronze star), Joint Service Medal, Meritorious Team Medal, Meritorious Unit Medal, Overseas Medal, Global War Terrorism Service Medal and the Global War Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
As a collateral duty, Jesse was also a physical fitness leader (personal trainer) for his specialized law enforcement team, preparing team members for upcoming deployment operations. He is a certified personal trainer though the National Endurance and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) and is trained in Bushi Ban style Mixed Martial Arts.
Jesse received his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
