Richard J. Betor - Founder Managing Member and Managing Director of Tax Services

Rich is the founder and Managing Member of Elite Talent Consultants, created as the vehicle to protect high net worth individuals, athletes, and professionals from repeating the same mistakes many have made in the past with regard to poor asset management and excessive spending habits.

As a former competitive golfer, Rich was surrounded by many athletes who frequently offered feedback centering around the desire to find competent financial and tax professionals who understood their needs and would look out for their best interests. Hence, ETC was created to be the premier tax based integrated wealth management firm that oversaw all financial activity for its clients.

An alumnus of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Rich later graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree with a triple major in finance, accounting, and operations strategic management. He then received a M.S. of Taxation from the University of Miami (FL), in addition to a Certificate of Financial Planning. Rich began his professional career with McDonald Investments (Key Bank) in the investment banking arena. He later worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Miami as part of the taxation division, in addition to the assurance and audit practices with a primary focus in the Personal Financial Services (PFS) division. In recognition of his exemplary work at PwC, Rich was the recipient of several prestigious recognitions including the Chairman's Award for his contributions in the PFS practice.

Soon after, Rich began his own Miami-based tax and strategic business consulting firm where he serves clients throughout The Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Rich's practice encompasses high net worth individuals and families, international taxation, real estate, estate taxation, trusts, corporations, partnerships and not-for-profit foundations.

Rich currently resides in Miami and is an active golfer, squash, racquetball and tennis player and has also completed several triathlons and half-marathons. Rich is proficient in both Spanish and French.
